Journey Groups
Every Sunday folks at FCCA gather as a community and welcome one another with the statement: No matter who you are, our where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
The aim of our Journey Groups is to deepen and widen our circles of our welcome by providing small group opportunities during the week to explore topics of interest as they intersect with faith, spirituality and every day life. Whether the group meets in a home setting, an art gallery or in our gallery area at the church, they each provide an opportunity for dialogue and discussion in a safe and inclusive communal setting.
Grief & Loss Journey Group
2nd Monday of the month

There are many losses in life, and we will be sharing our stories and giving mutual support. Led by Linda Shively. If you are interested please contact churchoffice@fccalameda.org.
Spirited Parenting Journey Group
3rd Friday of the month
Church Fellowship Hall
Potluck 6:00pm, Parent Discussion & Children’s Activity 6:45pm
Being a parent is a high calling and it is filled with its challenges and joys, its moments of immense gratitude and its moments of utter frustration. This group is for parents who are seeking support, encouragement, and wisdom as they seek to nurture their own spiritual lives and the spiritual lives of their children. We will gather for a potluck meal, followed by childcare for infants/activity time for older children and an adult reflection and discussion time on topics that are relevant to the group. If you are interested, please email Rev. Laura Rose at revlaura@fccalameda.org.
