
Blessing of the Graduates
This Sunday, May 21, worship will be led by FCCA high school graduates Anika, Thomas, and Theo and include reflections on growing up at FCCA and the journey ahead for them. All graduates from every stage of life are invited to participate in the Blessing of Graduates led by Revs. Lacey and Laura.
Elementary School Graduates
Elena Sweet-Hurni begins middle school in the fall.
Middle School Graduates
Jayla Anderson is graduating from Will C. Wood Middle School and will be attending St. Joseph Notre Dame High School.
Sahara Rose-Koeberl is graduating from Bay Farm Middle School and will attend Alameda High School.
High School Graduates
Anika Jensen is graduating from Alameda High School and plans to take a gap year so she’ll be around and therefore will still be able to pop into church occasionally. After that, unless she changes her mind during the gap year, Anika will be off to Paris for a three year film program.
Thomas McMuldren is graduating from Encinal High School and will be attending San Jose State University, targeting a career in Accounting or discovering something else to try to apply myself to.
Theo Wilson is graduating from the Head-Royce School and plans on going to the University of Virginia to study neuroscience.
College Graduates
Avril Jensen is graduating from Berkeley City College with an AA in Liberal Arts. In the fall, she transfers to the Academy of Art in San Francisco to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Development.
Javia Anderson is graduating with a Masters in Education and Teaching Credential. from BATTI (Bay Area Teacher Training Institute), and will be an assistant teacher at Head-Royce in the fall.
