Although summer is usually a slower season in the church year, we had some fun!
Under the guidance of Rev. Laura and the tutelage of our Children and Youth Coordinator Divya, The Alameda Queer History Project was launched. Together they designed a pilot program centered on youth-led oral history collection. The goal was not only to preserve stories but also to create meaningful intergenerational connections by having young people directly interview those who came before them.
