An Opportunity to Live Out Our Vision
Join the FCCA July 4th Contingent
We Need Your Help!
Thanks to the enthusiasm of Eric Hartz, Carol Graham (who has volunteered to drive a pickup truck rental), and the encouraging response so far from a few congregants willing to be part of our contingent, we are taking the leap this year to register for a space in Alameda’s Fourth of July parade.
The good news is that we have gotten a volunteer, via Carolyn Villa, to create a new banner!
How You Can Help:
- OFFER YOUR CREATIVE IDEAS on how to creatively decorate the truck, and what to hand out to the parade-goers.
- HELP DECORATE THE TRUCK ON JULY 3 – as soon as we know the timing on the truck rental we will set a time to decorate. If you are interested in helping with this let us know so we can run the time by you.
- WALK, ROLL OR RIDE your bicycle in the parade. (Depending on how many people we have, the pickup truck will primarily be used to give a rotating break to those who are walking and for small children, etc.)
If you can help in any way, please email Eric Hartz at ehartz.dma@gmail.com or Rev. Laura at revlaura@fccalameda.org.
