Back-To-School Backpack Drive To Benefit Building Futures

Now through August 6

A new school year is about to begin! Many families are busy shopping for new clothes and school supplies to ensure that their children are prepared to succeed. Plenty of families do not have the extra income to purchase all of these items, however. This is where YOU can help! Between now and August 6, if you use your coupons and shop the sales and buy an extra backpack or two, we will donate them to Building Futures for Women and Children. We partner with them often to help provide meals, Christmas gifts, and other essentials throughout the year. 

You can drop off the backpacks at church in the Narthex any time between now and August 6. You may also donate gift cards in amounts not exceeding $25 for Target, Walmart, or TJ Maxx.

Whether you have children or not, please consider buying a new backpack to donate. You may discover you are having fun choosing from among the many styles and colors that are available. Have fun shopping and don’t forget to bring them to church on or before Aug. 6!
