Building Futures has expressed a need for items for the children living in their shelters, including Alameda’s Midway Shelter. They are especially in need of money and gift cards to purchase clothing and shoes for the children and teens.
For the next 3 weeks we will be collecting gift cards, money (make check out to FCCA), and socks and underwear for all sizes of kids and teens. Gift cards should be no more than $25 for stores such as Old Navy, Target, Ross and TJMaxx.Â
If you are able, please consider contributing to this drive to help make these children feel more confident in starting the new school year!
