Worship with us! Sundays 10:30am

Ginny Krutilek: Celebrating 80 Years of Faithfulness

Ginny Krutilek has been a beacon of faithfulness and service both as a member of First Congregational Church of Alameda since 1944 and as a dedicated advocate for homeless families in our community. She is a founding member of the Alameda Homeless Network and Midway Shelter and continues to be closely engaged with these two organizations even at the age of 99.

We will be honoring Ginny on Sunday, October 6 during our worship service at 10:30am. A highlight of the service will be a 12-minute preview of a video, by videographer Lis Cox, profiling Ginny’s early life in Alameda and service to her church and community. Our Communion offering that day will go to the Midway Shelter, in Ginny’s honor. All are welcome to join us for the worship service and/or for the food and festivities afterward at 11:45am in our fellowship hall.
