The United Church of Christ has put together resources for LGBTQIA+ justice and witness this Pride Month. The Love is Louder: Love Your Neighbor OUT LOUD initiative is intended to faithfully support the spiritual, physical, and mental well-being of LGBTQIA+ siblings by equipping faith communities with resources and tools for just action and care.
One resource to highlight is the toolkit on Communal Care of Trans and Non-Binary Siblings. As the website www.translegislation.org reveals, the number of anti-trans bills considered across the US has broken records for four consecutive years. From 2021-present, 1,506 bills have been considered and 173 have passed.
