September Communion Offering: National Farm Worker Ministry
OCWM funds go to support the ministry and programs of the Northern California-Nevada Conference (NCNC). Our UCC regional conference is democratic, representative and exists to help our church and others thrive and achieve our mission. The conference supports us, and this is our opportunity to support them since the conference budget relies on contributions from individual churches. NCNC contributes 10% of funds to the national UCC so, in addition to contributing to the health of our conference, this is an opportunity to support UCC’s broader movement of progressive Christianity.
On Sunday, October 1, our church’s delegates to the NCNC will tell us more about the conference’s important work and their personal experiences as Delegates. Read more about that here.
